For 40 years now, My First Skool has been a leader in early childhood care and education. The pre-school arm of NTUC (National Trades Union Congress) First Campus Co-operative, we have grown into one of Singapore’s most respected early childhood organisations since we opened our doors in 1977. Situated in the green residential enclave of Hillview, Maple Bear Hillview has been established to support the neighbouring families with a preschool programme with a strong focus on bilingual literacy. The spacious 10,000 sq ft premises has been newly renovated with letterland-inspired learning corners such as bouncy ben’s bakery, annie apple’s art & craft studio, golden girl’s grocery store as well as lucy lamp lady’s laundromat and much more. We hope to bring stories to life by immersing the children in an imaginative playground that makes coming to school a delight and learning happen naturally.Parents who plan to drive their kids to school will be pleased to know that there are ample free parking lots in the covered carpark. From the carpark, they will be able to take a lift directly to the preschool entrance on Level 2. Those who prefer to walk will be able to easily access the preschool entrance from the main lobby simply by walking up a flight of stairs. It has been created by Canadian Experts and is being constantly upgraded to ensure that the Maple Bear Education System reflects the very best in early childhood education. Woodgrove Primary School commenced operations in January 1999, using the premises of Woodlands Ring Primary School with a total enrolment of 660 students in 17 classes. The school officially moved to its present premises on 5 September 1999.
